Estrogen Dominance Creates Less Sensitivity to Thyroid Hormone and Hair Loss

Hair Loss and Migraines

If the migraine is associated with the woman's cycle, then there is a hormonal component and progesterone usually helps. However, progesterone only helps, if the patient is willing to cut out most of the xenoestrogens and phytoestrogens in their life. This kind of migraine is related to Estrogen Dominance. Estrogen Dominance means too much estrogen. The extra estrogen is from xenoestrogens and phytoestrogens in your life.

Estrogen dominance is usually associated with hypothyroidism. However, this kind of hypothyroidism is something that your physician is not used to seeing. The normal hypothyroidism means low thyroid. However, when the T3 and T4 blood tests are done. The thyroid hormones are normal to low normal. So where is the hypothyroid coming from? The patient has become less sensitive to thyroid hormone.

Why is the patient less sensitive to thyroid hormone?

The patient is less sensitive to thyroid hormone because she is Estrogen Dominant. Estrogen says, "Build up fat for the pregnancy." And how does Estrogen accomplish that? Estrogen makes you less sensitive to thyroid hormone. If you are less sensitive to thyroid hormone, then you look hypothyroid even though you have normal thyroid levels.

What does hypothyroid look like?

Hair begins to thin. The shower drain is filled with hair. Your pillow has too much hair on it. The head of your bed has hair on the ground. When you brush your hair, there is too much hair on the brush. Your under arm hair does not grow fast enough.

Not so good.

Also the eyebrow hair looks thin.

I am happy to report a huge relief of breast & ovarian pain from cycts.

Dear Dr. Eckhart,

I am now into my third month on natural progesterone, avoiding xeno & phyto estrogens as much as possible, and taking the recommended supplements as per your suggestions in the little blue booklet .

I am happy to report a huge relief of breast & ovarian pain from cycts. Two months ago I could not even lay on my side or stomach. Now there is no problem. The endomitrial pain I have suffered with for 10 years is greatly diminished, I feel clearer in my thinking, my energy is coming back, my hair is indeed getting thicker, and I am feeling a new joy in life and very hopeful of even more improvements to come.

Considering that half my life was consumed with endomitrial pain (from ovulation, until menstruation), combined with horrible PMS (which I just thought was NORMAL until I read your literature!) I NOW have an extra 2 weeks every month that I can actually function like a normal person rather than being curled up in bed with pain & exaustion written all over my face.

Please feel free to use my experience in any of your product promotion. I am starting a grass-roots movement to share my experiences with xeno-estrogens to educate other women, and would like to know if you have literature you would like me to pass out when I have my first meeting. I am sharing simply my own experience, but I will definetly be telling them about Progestelle and your research.

Your work is amazing and important, and I want to thank you from myself and from the many women you have helped and will help due to your fantastic research for a new opportunity to live without pain, keeping our ovaries and learning proactively how to take charge of our own health.

With heart felt thanks,

Cindy H.

New Building Materials

Another common cause of hair loss is new building material. New building material out gasses and is some what toxic. This may be floor varnish, new rug, or a batch of rug that is toxic, a new coat of paint, or even the glue out gassing from particle board. This is very common. I recently remodeled my master bedroom. I especially went to find a "safe" kind of varnish that was supposed to be environmentally safe. I sanded the floor. Then I put on the new coat of varnish. The new coat of varnish made my hair fall out and thin. The hair has not grown back 5 years later. It was a special expensive floor varnish formulated in Sweden that they assured me was safe. I was disappointed.

If your hair loss is from toxic building materials, the easiest thing to do is to open the window. Shellac is from insect egg cases. The raw Shellac may be dissolved in Everclear Vodka and painted onto the surface sealing it from out gassing.

You Are Less Sensitive to Your Own Thyroid Hormone
However, if the hair loss is associated with migraine headaches it is more likely that estrogen dominance is making you less sensitive to thyroid hormone. Avoiding xenoestrogens and chemical estrogens and taking progesterone solves this hair loss problem most of the time after 1-6 months. Hair stops falling out. Hair becomes thicker. You will notice less hair in the drain.

If you take bioidentical progesterone and the hair loss becomes worse, then this means that you still have a load of xenoestrogens (chemical estrogens) and phytoestrogens in your environment. Stop the progesterone. Cut out all xenoestrogens. Then try the progesterone 1-2 months later. The environmental estrogens usually take 1-3 months to wash out of the body. A simple application of sunscreen on the skin will take 1-3 months to wash out of the body.

Crazy Hair Loss Has Stopped

I am fine thank you, how are you? I went off the pill about two months ago and seem to be getting hot flashes for the past month. Still no period. But otherwise feel fine with no PMS symptoms like I used to, and the crazy hair loss has stopped.

Fat Soluble Grabage

I had one patient that had a fibrocyst in the breast. She took progesterone and the cyst in the breast began to shrink. She was in the Midwest. She then decided to go on vacation with her family to the beaches in Texas. She asked me if she could use sunscreen. I said this is fine if you use a sunscreen that does not have chemical estrogens preferably a pure zinc oxide product. She became defensive and used an off the shelf sunscreen from the store. The cyst in her breast blew up to the size of a walnut behind her left nipple in a matter of 2 weeks. She flew back home with her family and asked me whether she could continue the progesterone cream. I told her, "No, do not use the progesterone cream. You must wait 1-2 months so that the sunscreen will wash out of the body." She became defensive again and used the progesterone cream anyway. The breast cyst blew up even bigger. Finally, she cut out xenoestrogens, waited for 2 months, and then took the progesterone cream. The cyst resolved.

The things on the skin take so long to wash out of the body because they are fat soluble. Whenever things are fat soluble, they are stored in the body fat, and the wash out times are very unpredictable.

The first improvement I notice was my hair. It doesn't fall as it used to.

Dear Dr Eckhart,

This is my third month of treatment with progestelle. After my endometriosis surgery I satrted with Progestelle. I feel much better, I followed all your recommendations and feel great, no more xenoestrogens for me.

I am very careful with my diet, mostly organic, lots of vegetables, no redmeat, a little fish and organic chicken. The first improvement I notice was my hair. It doesn't fall as it used to. Also pain during and after my period is almost gone, this is just great. I want to ask you what would be the next step. I am still taking Indole-3 carbinol, no problems so far, no hot flashes.

Progestelle as indicated for endomeriosis. I drink alkaline water. Should I change doses of progestelle or Indole? What about Natokinasse? Can I start taking omega oils? borage oil, salmon oil, or other kind of omega. What about vitamins or antioxidants? I am not taking any other supplements or vitamins. The only concern at this time is my skin, it is really dry and itchy.

I used elysandream castille soap and almond, avocado or even olive oil for my skin. Thanks a lot for all your help.

Sincerely,Sandra H.

An Example - LSD is fat soluble

Here is an example of things that are fat soluble and very unpredictable. Have you heard of the drug of abuse LSD? LSD is a hallucinogen that was taken during the 1960's. It has a reputation for giving bad trips ten years later. Why? LSD is active in very small amounts. LSD is fat soluble. Some LSD is stored in the fat when initially taken. Ten years later during the flu when the patient can't eat, the fat is metabolized and the LSD is released. The ten year old LSD gives the patient a bad trip.

Here is another example, I had a friend with Outward Bound. He would take "pot heads" for hikes in the mountains of Colorado. During the hike, the "pot heads" would start to get high even when they were not smoking anything. The THC would get mobilized out of the fat and be released into the body with all the sweating and raising the core body temperature.

As a final example of garbage being stored in the fat, runners complain of a "runner's flu" if they haven't run for a while. When the runners start to run again, toxic chemicals stored in the fat are released into the body and they feel like they have a flu.

That is why things put on the skin take 1-3 months to wash out of the body. They are fat soluble.

Thyroid Blockers

Cutting out xenoestrogens and phytoestrogens and taking progesterone does not solve the hair loss problem 100% of the time. Not only are there chemicals that masquerade as estrogen, there are also chemicals that masquerade as thyroid blockers. In other words, there are also chemicals that happen to fit into the thyroid receptor and block thyroid hormone. PBBs used as a fire retardant in plastic is a classic thyroid blocker. The computer that I am using right now to type this website likely has PBBs. My hands resting on the keyboard are likely absorbing PBBs from the plastic keyboard.

I am telling everyone about this product.

YES OF COURSE.I am telling everyone about this product. By stomach has gone down from looking like I was 3 mths pregnent to almost flat and my libido is back, plus my hair that was dropping out is now being complimented by my hairdresser at the salon as being thick again(she even charged me extra for service).I thank God that I found out about this because I prayed for an answer when I found out about the possibility of having less children and/or immediate surgery that came up when I found out about the fibroid. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders because there is no more haemorrhaging and hair loss, and the worry about surgery is gone.

My husband and I are ecstatic and I look forward to haing kids normally and I WANT EVERY WOMAN WITH THESE PROBLEMS TO KNOW THAT THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO SURGERY- PROGESTELLE. It take a change in lifestyle for some but it is worth it. I am 28yrs and I did it comfortably. When I retun for my next visit, I expect that the fibroid will be totally gone.

GROW Your Hair back NOW!

Thus, cutting out environmental estrogen and taking progesterone cream does not cure the hair loss problem all the time. In my experience, most of the time, the 1,2 punch of cutting out environmental estrogens and taking progesterone cream makes your hair thicker especially if it is associated with a migraine that varies with the cycle.

In other words, you have a migraine that varies with the cycle. You are lucky. Cut out environmental estrogens. Take progesterone. Your sensitivity to your own thyroid hormone goes back to normal. Voila. Usually, your hair gets thicker too after 1-3 months. Bonus time.

Go to this website and get progesterone cream.
